X Games Aspen 2026
The results below are from the X Games' own daily results pages, which group them by competition day. The organiser labels the days one, two and three; the event ran from 23 to 25 January.

The X Games page for day three orders the women's slopestyle silver and bronze one way in its text and the other way in its photo caption, so we do not say which of Urness and Gremaud was second. The women's superpipe win is reported by GB Snowsport, the UK governing body, which counted five British medals at Aspen 2026 as its biggest X Games haul.

The X Games page spells Murase's given name "Cocomo"; FIS spells it Kokomo. The women's snowboard superpipe and the men's ski big air results, and the remaining places marked above, were not collected.
X Games 2027. A June 2026 report seen in search says X Games will stay at Buttermilk through the 2028-29 season, with 2027 dates to come. It is a secondary source, so this is unconfirmed, and no 2027 dates were found.
Freeride: now a FIS discipline
FIS now publishes the freeride tour as the FIS Freeride World Tour, and it held the first FIS Freeride World Championships in 2026. Freeride is also reported to be joining the Olympic programme for 2030, with four events (women's and men's ski and snowboard), according to The Sports Examiner's account of the IOC Executive Board's decision; see French Alps 2030.
FIS Freeride World Championships, Andorra, 3 February 2026
The first FIS Freeride World Championships were held on the Basser Negre face (2,687 m) at Ordino Arcalis, Andorra.
| Category | 1 | 2 | 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ski men | Ben Richards (NZL), 91.67 | Ugo Troubat (FRA), 86.00 | Kai Jones (USA), 76.67 |
| Ski women | Zuzanna Witych (POL), 80.33 | Justine Dufour-Lapointe (CAN), 76.33 | Molly Armanino (USA) |
| Snowboard men | Liam Rivera (SUI), 84.33 | Victor de Le Rue (FRA), 80.00 | Michael Mawn (USA), 69.00 |
| Snowboard women | Mia Jones (USA), 84.00 | Noemie Equy (FRA), 81.33 | Nuria Castan Baron (ESP), 79.00 |
FIS says the women's ski competition was stopped early for low visibility with 11 of 16 riders finished, which met the two-thirds rule, so the results stood. A nations ranking introduced at Andorra put France first, the USA second and Canada third (FIS).
FIS Freeride World Tour 2026
The tour finished with the 30th edition of the Xtreme Verbier, on the Bec des Rosses at Verbier on 28 March 2026.
- Final-day winners: Liam Rivera (SUI, snowboard men) with 96, which FIS calls the highest snowboard men's score ever; Ben Richards (NZL, ski men) with 96; Lou Barin (FRA, ski women) with 95; and Mia Jones (USA, snowboard women) with 87.
- 2026 tour champions: Ben Richards (NZL), ski men; Lou Barin (FRA), ski women; Victor de Le Rue (FRA), snowboard men; Mia Jones (USA), snowboard women.
FIS says de Le Rue's title was his fifth, making him the first rider to reach five. Richards and Mia Jones won both the world championship and the tour in 2026.
Freestyle and snowboard park and pipe events under FIS, including the Olympic slopestyle, big air and halfpipe, are on Milano Cortina 2026 and World Cup 2025-26.
